Gatto Industrial Platers, Inc. has been specializing in zinc plating since 1974. Combining our existing buildings with a 123,000 square foot addition, added in January 1999, our facility is a 210,000 square foot structure located on nine acres. We are conveniently located in the Roosevelt/Cicero corridor of Chicago, just 1/2 block east of the intersection of Cicero Ave. and Roosevelt Road. Our location allows our large fleet of tractors and 14 trailers to service your plating needs and to keep your production line operational and minimize your downtime.

Our facility houses the most up-to-date equipment and has a daily capacity of 300 tons. Our Small Order Department ensures quick turnaround on prototype and small orders. At Gatto, there is never a setup or tooling charge. We operate 24-hours per day, 5 days a week, with a measured average job turnaround of 24-48 hours. At Gatto, we continuously strive to improve our process through training and technology to provide a cost effectively, finished product.

Our commitment to quality begins with our trained truck drivers who pre-inspect all customer orders at pick up to ensure damage free transit. Our commitment is supported by a modern, in-house laboratory for full process control and monitoring. Our fully equipped laboratory is utilized for quality assurance and continuous research and development. Our staff provides the most current methods of a testing system, including 1) X-ray fluorescence thickness tester. 2) Eddy current thickness tester. 3) AA - Spectrophotometer 4) Video microscopy.
