Our Roots in Manufacturing
Gatto Industrial Platers grew out of a small machine shop. George Gatto Sr., a tool and die maker by trade, began machining parts like motorcycle forks and metal furniture components. Through that work, he saw firsthand how important plating was to protecting and finishing the parts being produced.
Curious about the process, he started visiting plating plants to watch how the work was done and learn about the finishing process. When the opportunity came to purchase a plating company in Chicago, he took it.
Like many, the business grew through relationships, word of mouth, and customers who trusted us. Today, George Gatto Jr. continues building on that foundation.
